Stallings accepts that rejection is part of learning and embraces the process of being rejected. Working in innovation, Stallings finds rejection a normal occurance that is part of risk-taking, failure, learning and development. He notes that working on ethnography studies in people's homes teaches him that skills learned handling rejection are transferable to managing expectations in relationships too.
